The NAMI Maryland Annual Meeting will be held on June 15th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Carl J. Arthur Community Center.

You are invited to our in-person Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 1:00 pm EST at the Carl J. Arthur Community Center!  The NAMI Maryland Annual Meeting will feature a welcome from NAMI Leadership, light refreshments, and a meet-and-greet with NAMI Maryland Board and Staff.

NAMI Maryland will also hold our in-person vote for our new Board of Directors, present our Annual Report for FY2024 to the public, and discuss work  for the upcoming year.

Board Election

The Annual Meeting will celebrate NAMI's accomplishments in serving the community and will share how NAMI Maryland will move forward to ensure everyone continues to receive the support they need.  It's also your opportunity to make your voice heard and vote for members of our Board of Directors!

By-Laws Changes

This year's Annual Meeting will include a vote on important changes to NAMI Maryland's By-Laws.  The NAMI Maryland Board of Directors have recommended amendments to the NAMI Maryland By-Laws that would:

1. Clarify Board members' terms;
2. Revise officers' and committees' duties;
3. Remove redundant duties regarding resolutions; and
   
4. Include additional classifications in its non-discrimination provision.

Voting will take place on June 15th, 2024 ONLY.  You MUST attend the Annual Meeting if you want to vote.

Should you wish to mail in your ballot, it must be received by Friday, June 14th, 2024 at 5:00 pm in order for your vote to be counted.  You can also email the ballot to info@namimd.org or mail it to our office at 10632 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 454, Columbia, MD 21044.

Voting is the crucial way you make your voice heard in our organization.  Taking the time to vote helps your Board of Directors ensure that NAMI Maryland's annual meeting represents as many members' views as we can.  In order to vote (see below for voting options), you must be a NAMI member and your membership must be active through June 2024.
