The NAMI Maryland Annual Conference is about hope, ideas and gaining new skills. Here's your chance to learn about the latest research, discover resources that you may not have know were there, develop a talent for advocacy, and foster a better understanding of issues relating to mental illness.
We invite individuals with mental illness, families, faith leaders, community members, students, health care providers and criminal justice professionals to register for the conference.
Scholarships - A limited number of registration scholarships are available. If you are applying for a scholarship, please DO NOT REGISTER until you have been notified that your scholarship has been approved. Please contact NAMI Maryland at (410) 884-8691 for more information. All scholarship applications must be submitted by Monday, October 16. Recipients will be notified that week. You will be notified by email.

Group Incentives - Group incentives are available. For every 8 registrations your organizations brings to the conference, you will receive 1 FREE 2-DAY REGISTRATION.

PRESENTING AT THE CONFERENCE
The two-day conference is attended by a very diverse group of attendees. We are looking for practical, skill-builidng or policy-oriented sessions tailored for specific audiences that include mental health, substance use, criminal justice, health and social service provider staff, local NAMI and advocacy organization leaders, individuals with mental illness, family members and interested community members from various networks.

Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Certificates of Attendance
As an accredited academic institution, the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Training Center is an approved sponsor of the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners for 6.0 Continuing Education credits (Category 1) for licensed social workers in Maryland; as a sponsor of 6.0 Continuing Education (CE) acceptable to the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists; and 6.0 Continuing Education Units (Category A) by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists, upon completion of this training and a completed evaluation. The Training Center maintains responsibility for this program. A Certificate of Attendance will be made available for all other disciplines.
